Why DMI Sprint Race Components
2001 DMI's arsenal consisted of a 12-page catalog, 11 employees, 5 CNC machines, a 6,600 sq. ft. building and a handful of products. Fortunately for us, you were kind enough to give us a chance and in just 9 short years we now have 27 employees, 9 CNC machines, a 66,000 sq. ft. building and more products than we thought possible. In 2001-2002 DMI introduced the first DMI hub, the original 10 piece spacer kit, Splined Rear wheel center's and developed the 1st "component kit" to enhance customer ordering and finished with utilizing the Galdiator U-Joint cross design for motorsports...and we were just getting started. In 2003 we took delivery of our fourth vertical CNC milling center and maunfactured the 1st Aluminum 1-piece Inboard brake floater. In 2004 we debuted the BullDog Rearend, the dates, the concepts, the development, it all seemed like it just happened. When we designed the GoldStar front hub, we didn't know it would be the most copied front hub in the industry. We never knew the BullDog Rearend would be so well received in such a short period of time. For the first time in 25 years, there was a viable choice when it came to sprint car rearends and the racers couldn't be happier. Whether the idea originated on a screen or a napkin, new products were developed and manufactured, and the industry embraced them with open arms. 2007 was an incredible year. U.S. and international sales were at record highs. We refined a few products, developed a few new ones and have our third new machine to help with production. At the 2008 PRI show we debuted our new XR-2 Rear and again rocked the industry. We thank you for the chance you gave us in 2001 and the continued support you provide us with today. Remember, time doesn't stand still, DMI doesn't stand still and neither should you. Climb on board, next stop: Victory Lane. State of The Art...
